Final Project: Going Further
Your final project will be a Power Point presentation on a special topic or a specific case in forensic science. You can chose to go more in depth with one of the disciplines you've already studied (see the Intro page) or you can chose from one of the disciplines we didn't cover:
There are three stages to this project:
Stage I: Diigo Research
Your first step will be to research your topic on the internet.

Useful Sites That You Can't Cite:
Before you start your research, Get Ms. Mouser to help you install the Diigolet research tool in your internet browser. Then she will explain to you the POWER of Diigo. (It's powerful.)
Stage II: The Old-Fashioned Outline
After we've discussed and focused your topic with me, you'll write an old-fashioned outline. It's very difficult to walk someone else through a complex topic if you haven't picked the path out for yourself first. Your outline is your trail guide. For example:
The JFK Assassination and the Magic Bullet Theory
I. The Day of the Assassination
A. When and Where - Dealy Plaza, Dallas, Nov 22, 1963
B. JFK and Jackie Kennedy, John and Nellie Connally in the Limo
C. Shots fired from the Texas Book Depository by Lee Harvey Oswald
D. Background on Oswald
II. Aftermath of the Shooting
A. JFK at Parkland
B. The Fate of Oswald
C. Autospy at Bethsada Naval Hospital
II. The Conclusion of the Warren Commission
A. Oswald Acted Alone
B. Only Three Shots Were Fired
C. The 2nd Shot . . .
III. So Why All the Fuss? aka The Source of Controversy
A. ect, ect, ect . . .
B. ect, ect, ect . . .
Stage III: Power Point Design
There are many terrible power point presentations in the world:
- The Forensics of Explosions
- Document Examination
- Computer Forensics
- Advanced Topics in Forensic Anthropology
